Hyaluronic Acid has been used for years in injectable form to fill and plump our skin in the search to eliminate fine lines and wrinkles. The acid is naturally occurring in our bodies and is therefore non irritating and highly effective. As we age, our bodies produce less and less of this. Until recently, the major drawback of the hyaluronic acid molecule was that it was too large to pass through the the skin, requiring it to be injected.
